Blood Work is a material study that explores the creation of value and relationship of people, the body and objects. Finding inspiration in historical examples of Victorian sentimental jewelry, hot glass processes were used to encapsulate and perminately preserve bodily traces (hair + blood) and in hopes of creating a new sentimental medium.
